A proud Baltimore City resident, Richard is deeply committed to his community and to making Baltimore a wonderful place to live and work. Whether he’s structuring down‑payment assistance for first‑time buyers or navigating the nuances of condo and investment property financing, Richard is known for his command of the details and his ability to turn complex lending scenarios into clear, achievable solutions. With a background that includes undergraduate degrees from Vanderbilt University and a law degree from the University of Maryland—where he served on the Honor Board—Richard brings analytical expertise, thoughtful advocacy, and deep product knowledge to every client he serves.
Community service is woven throughout Richard’s life. He has served as Vice President of Moveable Feast, President of Bolton Park Neighbors, President of the 1209 N. Charles Street Condominium Association, and a board member for the Reservoir Hill Improvement Council and Federal Place HOA. He has also taught financial literacy in Baltimore City Public Schools, reflecting his belief in empowering families through education. Outside of work, Richard enjoys reading murder and intrigue novels, cheering on the Orioles and Ravens, and traveling with his husband. He is the proud father of two grown daughters and a grandfather—and recently added a new kitten to the family, who, in true cat fashion, now rules the house. Known among friends as a wealth of Baltimore history trivia, Richard combines expertise, personality, and genuine care to create a mortgage experience that truly stands apart.
