Damon Hostetter is the Recreational Marine Practice Leader at Jack Martin & Associates. A graduate of the United States Naval Academy, Damon served aboard Navy destroyers and achieved the rank of Lieutenant in the United States Navy. Damon also served as Director of Offshore Sailing at the Naval Academy as a civilian for 4 years.

To compliment Damon’s distinguished career as a United States Naval Officer; his insurance experience is equally impressive. Damon has more than 23 years of claim, underwriting and sales experience in the recreational marine business. Before accepting the position of Yacht Executive, Damon was Senior Vice President of Chubb Recreational Marine, formerly ACE, the nation’s oldest marine insurance provider. Prior to his tenure with Chubb, Damon served as Chief Executive Officer of Jack Martin & Associates. He previously spent ten years at Zurich Marine Insurance in Baltimore, MD, serving in several positions of increasing leadership, culminating with his appointment as Vice President.

In addition to his impressive résumé , Damon is an accomplished sailor, having raced and cruised extensively, including Atlantic and Pacific crossings, and a single-handed passage from Hawaii to California. He continues to cruise on both sailboats and powerboats at every opportunity. Damon is a founding member of the Mid-Atlantic Mariner’s Club and served as the Club’s Skipper from 2003 - 2007.

Morgan Wells, Vice President, is a Yacht Insurance Specialist for Jack Martin & Associates. Prior to joining Jack Martin & Associates in 1991, he earned a bachelor’s degree from George Washington University and worked in the financial services industry. Morgan is an independent insurance agent, specializing exclusively in yacht and ship insurance.

With over twenty years of experience, Morgan has developed a reputation for handling the most challenging risks. He corresponds with over a dozen insurance companies and takes the time to fully educate clients in order to provide the best possible pricing and coverage.

Morgan has an impressive resume of both yacht racing and passage making. In addition to extensive cruising on the US East and West coasts, his seafaring adventures have led him to Bermuda, the entire Caribbean, Pacific Mexico, Southeast Asia, and an Indian Ocean crossing from Thailand to the Red Sea. He continues to race and voyage on power and sailing yachts at every opportunity. Morgan serves on the Board of Directors for the Avon-Dixon Insurance Agency.

Jon Horton is a Vice President and Boat & Yacht Insurance Specialist for Jack Martin & Associates. Jon became acquainted with the insurance industry at an early start; his father owned his own independent insurance agency for 20 years and Jon has experience managing his family’s marina on the Tennessee River. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Montevallo and joined the Jack Martin & Associates team in 2005. Jon is an independent insurance agent focusing on boat and marine insurance.

Jon combines his extensive boating experience and comprehensive knowledge of a variety of vessels with a passion to provide the right solution for each unique client. He takes the time to get to know each client and their needs, whether they boat for leisure or for business.

Jon keeps current on all of the latest seafaring vessels by meeting with marina owners and boat dealers. He served as the Program Director for the Mid Atlantic Mariner’s Club, an organization of maritime attorneys, surveyors, insurance agents and insurance companies who meet quarterly to discuss and educate themselves on the trends in the marine insurance industry.

Lee Casey is a Boat and Yacht Insurance Specialist for Jack Martin & Associates. Prior to joining the Jack Martin & Associates team, Lee graduated from Vanderbilt University and held positions in public relations and marketing. Her career in the maritime industry started in 2002 at the Waterway Guide and was followed by her position as a Marine Finance Specialist. This experience in underwriting provided her with a comprehensive knowledge of a variety of vessels. She now uses this knowledge to ensure that each of her clients is secure with their personalized insurance coverage.

Currently located in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina Lee has a long history of cruising along the southern shores of the Atlantic Ocean, in the Caribbean, the San Fransisco Bay and the Chesapeake Bay. Her free time is spent cruising with her family, playing in the surf on the beach and scuba diving. Lee is a member of the South Carolina Yacht Club and is active with Charleston Community Sailing.
