2011

The Felton Bank merges into CNB.

2009

The Centreville National Bank changes from a nationally chartered bank to a state chartered bank, changing its name to CNB.

Jack Martin & Associates becomes a member of the Shore Bancshares community of companies after being acquired by the Avon-Dixon Insurance Agency.

2005

Wye Financial & Trust forms as a division of The Centreville National Bank. They are now a division of Shore United Bank.

2004

The Shore Bancshares community of companies expands their footprint into Delaware after acquiring Mid-State Bancorp, parent company of Felton Bank (DE).

2002

W.M. Freestate & Son becomes a member of the Shore Bancshares community of companies after being acquired by the Avon-Dixon Insurance Agency.

Shore Bancshares, Inc. begins to offer trust and wealth management services through Wye Financial Services.

2002

Shore Bancshares, Inc. elects to become a financial holding company, permitting them to engage in financial services other than banking and allowing them to welcome the Avon-Dixon Insurance Agency and Elliott Wilson Insurance into their community of companies.

2000

Talbot Bancshares, Inc. merges into Shore Bancshares, Inc. making The Talbot Bank and Centreville National Bank sister banks.

1997

The Centreville National Bank acquires Kent Savings and Loan Association in Chestertown expanding their footprint into Maryland’s Kent County.

1997

Talbot Bancshares, Inc. is formed by The Talbot Bank of Easton, Maryland to allow the bank to acquire other banks and grow.

1996

Shore Bancshares, Inc. is formed by The Centreville National Bank of Maryland to allow the bank to acquire other banks and grow.
